Pressing for the Prize Radio Ministries has been encouraging the Body of Christ to run the race set before us through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit and the inerrant Word of God. Our theme scripture "Philippians 3:13-14" challenges us to press in "for the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ."
"It's not about our past or the things that have held you back, instead its about our future, reaching forward and going where God has predestined us from the beginning of time. It's realizing that God is perfecting us for our good and His purpose as HE conforms us to the image of HIS Son. PFTP encourages the believer to walk in the authority that Jesus has given us and press through life situations. This will produce brokeness (the necessary process of conforming us to His image) as we embrace Him and God will strengthen us, establish us, ground us and mature us. The press takes us to higher ground in Christ Jesus. It is learning to never give up, never give out and never give in, as we keep our eyes on Jesus. It is more than words, it is the way of faith. Our desire is for you to gain strength for your personal journey of sanctification as you run your race. Remember without faith, it is impossible to please the Lord, and them that come to Him, must come believing that He is everything that He says , whether you have experienced Him in that capacity or not. You've got to believe that "He is ." He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Pressing for the Prize is here to encourage you "Don't Give Up, Don't Give Out, Don't Give In....Keep Your Eyes On Jesus..The Author and Finisher of your faith...BELIEVE...HE's working it out in your favor!!
